Professionally:
Catherine E. Janicki founded the
Janicki Law firm in 1991. Her focus is family and her main areas of
practice are in
Estates and Probate. The Janicki Law Firm represents trustees,
executors, personal representatives, beneficiaries, heirs, and
concerned family members before and after death or incapacity
of a loved one. Preparing estate planning documentations; such
as trusts, wills, powers of attorney and real estate contracts
are all done with the utmost attention to detail.
As
a 1991 graduate of Gonzaga Law School and a member of the
Washington State and King County Bar Associations Catherine
appears regularly in Superior court and is licensed in all
Washington State Courts and the Federal District Court of
Western Washington.
Having handled hundreds of complex estates
in and outside of court, Catherine understands her clients'
desires, the best way to accomplish results and aggressively
achieves them. As a result she currently serves as the
requested professional trustee for several personal and
charitable trusts and is frequently asked to speak to groups
of all sizes.
Even with a wide variety of clientele and circumstances, each
receives the care and attention needed for a satisfying
outcome.
Personally:
Catherine was raised in Skagit County, Washington and has
lived in King County since graduating from law school and
opening the Janicki Law Firm in 1991.
She and her husband David love snow skiing in the winter and
spending summer weekends at the beach or on the water.
Their four children (two boys and two girls) team up against
them occasionally, but overall it is great fun.
They thank God everyday for the blessings of great family and
friends.
Catherine
and her family enjoy working with children and families struggling for basics.
Many deliveries to struggling families in Washington have been and continue to
be part of their lives. Sometimes
clients have participated in the charitable donations. This is ongoing several times a year.
